BIOS Update

What I already knew from previous builds was that the first thing you should do is to install the newest BIOS from your motherboard. It is very probable that a new version of it came out after your motherboard was shipped to you.

My approach was to go to the website of the motherboard’s vendor and download the newest BIOS file and put it on a USB stick. I insterted the stick in one of the USB ports at the front panel.

After firing up the PC and going into its existing BIOS I was able to select the USB stick drive and update the BIOS from there. It worked like a breeze.
