Having built a custom Fender Stratocaster model guitar is one thing. Owning a “real” one is another.
When I finally decided to buy one in 2018 I was facing the chioce of a US- or Mexican-built model. My research surprised me, indicating that the Mexican built Fenders are at least as good if not better than the US ones.
The second choice to make was the design. White, red, black, blue or sunburst. I really didn’t know. In the end I picked “sunburst” since it was the first Stratocaster design in the 50s.
I was not disappointed when the instrument arrived. Well crafted, easy to handle and to play. I am used to the weight and the shape anyway and I will surely use it a lot.
