Converting a Guest Room

The plan was straightforward: convert the guest room into a dedicated home recording studio. The room would be completely cleared out and the bed relocated.

The planned equipment covered everything needed for a fully functional recording studio:

• Professional studio desk with keyboard shelf and rack spaces
• Custom-built audio workstation PC
• Large UHD computer monitor
• Audio interface
• Nearfield monitor speakers
• DAW software
• Keyboard, mouse, and accessories

The target budget was €4,000–5,000. Every item was carefully researched to find the best cost-benefit ratio for a home studio context.
